Lillie Morales-Torres

Social Media and Public Relations Manager

Lillie Morales-Torres graduated from Kean university (magna cume laude) where she majored in Communications with a focus in Journalism and minored in Media and Film. During her college studies, she interned at MTV networks and Univision, studied abroad in Paris, France, and attended Disney University at Walt Disney World. While there, she received special training in Business Communications and graduated, receiving a "Duck-torate" degree.

It was her first job at Telemundo as a Production Assistant that drew her into the world of media. She has worked for herself as well as for other companies offering communications, social media and public relations services. Throughout her career, Lillie has learned and mastered many skills such as photography, videography, editing, content creation, event planning and more.

Lillie is the author of: Wardrobe Styling Made Simple and Cheers Chica. She has written and edited for many print and online publications including NJ Mom's Guide, A Girl's Guide to Cars, Pure Wow and many more. She is also an award winning lifestyle blogger and received a Who’s Who in America award two years in a row. She created and co-created two websites; JerseyFashionista and Adventress Magazine. Both publications empower women to travel and live their best lives.

Philanthropy is something Lillie is passionate about. She has put together many fundraising events for charities including Endofound.org and the Revlon Walk for Women’s Cancers. When her daughter showed interest, she helped her get involved in philanthropy work as well. She and her daughter regularly donate to local animal shelters, volunteer their time to causes, organize drives, have donated to schools in Puerto Rico (affected by hurricane Maria) and more. Lillie enjoys working with youth and educating them in creating awareness for different causes. She believes that the younger generations have so much to give and hold the key to a better future with the right guidance.

Lillie hopes to continue to make an impact through her work at the Lesniak Institute by creating awareness for causes using her social media and communications skills as well as creating more education for the institute's audience, teaching people to use the power they already have: their voices.
